On December 10, throngs of people gather joyfully in Changzhou Xinbei Wanda Plaza amids pleasant warm music to celebrate the grand opening of Wanda Plaza cum Wanda Sheraton Hotel. Fan Yanqing, Changzhou CPC Secretary and Chairperson of the Standing Committee of Changzhou People’s Congress, and Wanda Chairman Wang Jianlin, attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon, along with a number of other leaders. At the opening ceremony, Wanda Group donated RMB300,000 to Changzhou Charity Fund.

Changzhou Xinbei Wanda Plaza is located in the central section of the Xinbei District, Changzhou, sitting at the golden junction of Tongjiang Road and Taihu Road, two major roads of the city. The Plaza includes a large commercial center, a five-star hotel, an outdoor commercial pedestrian street, a well-furnished apartment and SOHO. It has become the new landmark of Changzhou city. Changzhou Wanda Plaza has introduced a number of top Chinese and foreign brands, including Wal-Mart, Gome, Starbucks, ZARA, Marks & Spencer, SEPHORA, SaSa, and Bifengtang, among which, nearly half of the brands such as ZARA and SEPHORA set their footprints in Changzhou along with Wanda, brining a full range of new commercial experience to the Changzhou people. Changzhou Wanda Plaza Changzhou will also create tens of thousands of stable jobs, and generate hundreds of millions yuan in terms of revenue each year. The emergence of the Plaza will push the commercial layout of Changzhou, or the whole city development, to a new height.
